Discovery Language Academy (“DLA,” “we”) collects the information you submit on the enrollment form so we can follow up about Saturday Portuguese class. That form is hosted by GoHighLevel. Enrollment payment is completed on Zeffy’s checkout after you submit.

What information we collect

• Your name and your child’s first name
• Your email address and mobile phone number
• Whether you checked the optional SMS consent box
• Basic technical information from your visit, such as the pages you viewed and the ad or link that brought you here

What we use it for

• Confirming your child’s place and sending class details
• Email and SMS about this Saturday Portuguese program, if you asked us to text you
• Measuring our Facebook and Instagram ads (Meta Pixel), if you arrived from an ad

Who we share it with

School staff. Our form and CRM provider (GoHighLevel) to send messages you asked for. Zeffy, when you continue to hold a seat, so they can complete enrollment and payment. Meta, if you came from an ad, so we can tell the ad platform a lead or checkout started. We do not sell your information or your child’s information.

Text messages

If you check the box on the enrollment form, Discovery Language Academy may text the mobile number you gave. That consent is optional. It is not required to submit.

I consent to receive non-marketing text messages from Discovery Language Academy about Saturday Portuguese class details. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. Text HELP for assistance, reply STOP to opt out.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Cookies and tracking

This site uses the Meta Pixel, which sets cookies in your browser so we can measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads reach parents who are actually looking for a Portuguese class. We use session storage to remember which ad or link you arrived from. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles of children. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and you can limit ad tracking in your Meta account settings. The site still works with cookies turned off.

How we protect your information

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and form submissions are transmitted encrypted in transit. Your information is held in our GoHighLevel account, which is access controlled and limited to school staff who need it to run the class. We keep enrollment information only as long as we need it for the program and our records, and we delete it on request. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your choices and rights

Reply STOP to texts to opt out of SMS at any time. Text HELP for help. You may ask us to see, correct, update or delete the information you gave us, or unsubscribe from email, by emailing info@discoverylanguageacademy.org or calling (508) 997-8295. Opting out of texts does not affect your child’s enrollment.
